Dr. Toufic Ata is a leading Consultant in Laparoscopic Bariatric and General Surgery at Burjeel Hospital, Abu Dhabi, with over 21 years of experience in advanced surgical care. He specializes in minimally invasive procedures, including bariatric surgeries such as gastric sleeve and gastric bypass, as well as complex colorectal and oncologic surgeries. He also has extensive expertise in endocrine surgeries involving the thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal glands. He earned his medical degree from the University of Saint Joseph in Beirut and holds a Master’s in Surgical Sciences from the University of Paris XI. He is board-certified by the European Board of Surgical Oncology, a testament to his high level of surgical training and expertise.
