Biography

Dr. Y.A. Nazer is a renowned Cardiac Surgeon in India and the United Arab Emirates. He earned his medical degree from Kerala’s Thiruvananthapuram Medical College. To further his knowledge in the field, he pursued additional studies at the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, where he earned his MS and MCh degrees. He then completed a four-year Fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery at Sydney’s prestigious Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. Dr. Nazer was instrumental in establishing the Cardiac Surgical Unit of a government hospital in Abu Dhabi in 1994, owing to his extensive experience in the field.
