Dr. Sofia is certified Specialist Gastroenterologist & Hepatologist. She is expert in dealing all the diseases related to GI Tract, liver as well as Pancreatobiliary system. She performs all forms of diagnostic and Therapeutic Endoscopic procedures. Dr. Sofia has 10 years of experience as a Physician. She has completed her academic degree MBBS from Karachi, Pakistan. Then, She completed her postgraduation speciality training of 5yrs in Gastroenterology and Hepatology from College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan and obtained Fellowship of College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan (FCPS) in 2022. Since 2022, she appointed as specialist Gastroenterologist in, Pakistan. She deals with diseases like Liver cirrhosis, Hepatitis, Hepatocellular carcinoma, Celiac disease, IBD & pancreatobiliary diseases. She has performed numerous upper and lower GI endoscopic procedures, including diagnostic as well therapeutic. She has attended various training workshops regarding basic and advanced endoscopic procedures. She has obtained membership of various societies of GI & Liver diseases. As a part of her training programme, She has obtained numerous certificates including Basic Life Support (From AHA).
