Biography

Dr. Khalid Osman Elamin Elsayed is a Consultant Gastroenterology and Director of Endoscopy at Burjeel Hospital, Abu Dhabi. He obtained his MBBS from the University of Khartoum, Sudan, and a Certification of Higher Training in Gastroenterology and General Medicine in the United Kingdom. He then completed his Fellowship in Advanced Endoscopy, including ERCP and EUS, in 2009 and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (London, UK) in 2013. He also has membership in learned societies like the British Society of Gastroenterology and the American Gastroenterological Association. Dr. Khalid Osman worked as a Consultant Gastroenterologist and led the upper GI cancer multidisciplinary team at Torbay Hospital, United Kingdom, before moving to UAE, where he worked as a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Head of the Department in reputed government and private institutions. With over 25 years of experience in Gastroenterology, Dr. Khalid’s areas of expertise include the treatment of pancreaticobiliary diseases, biliary endoscopy, advanced interventional endoscopy, and GI oncology.  He has published several publications and presented several research papers internationally to his credit.
