Biography

Dr. Ranjitha Guruswamy is a Specialist Radiologist certified by DNB (Diplomate of National Board Radiodiagnosis), India, with more than 13 years of experience in radiology. Dr. Ranjitha completed her MBBS in 2002 from JJMMC Davanagere, Karnataka, India. In 2007 she passed her DMRD (Diploma in Medical Radiodiagnosis) and her DNB in 2009. Dr. Ranjitha had been associated with multi-specialty hospitals in India before moving to UAE in 2013. Her specialization includes General radiology with capabilities in reporting radiographs (x-rays), special fluoroscopic procedures, CT scans, MRI, and Mammograms and performing ultrasounds, including Doppler. Further, she underwent Mini Fellowship courses from Radedasia in musculoskeletal MRI in 2018. She updated herself with reporting 3D mammograms and had been in the lead role in implementing and monitoring mammography services at her previous workplace. Her special interests are in women’s and pediatric imaging, with vast experience in dealing with gynecological problems. Other areas of expertise include,
