Biography

Dr. Farah Aljburi’s career began in 2010 with a residency program for the Arab Board in pediatrics. She started her pediatric training in Al Ain, affiliated with UAE University Medical School. Dr. Aljburi was eventually accepted for transfer to Residency program in the capital city of Abu Dhabi.She successfully achieved Arab Board Certification in pediatrics in 2015 and obtained MRCPCH membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, UK, in the same year. Upon completing her residency training in 2015, Dr. Aljburi was hired as a General Pediatric Specialist at her training hospital. In 2021, she obtained the consultant license in General Pediatrics. Dr. Farah is an experienced paediatrician with expertise in acute care and had the opportunity to collaborate with consultants for specialty care. As a general practitioner, Dr. Aljburi demonstrated an interest in quality improvement. She was involved in auditing physician documentation with quality departments and setting rules and guidelines for documentation, which contributed significantly to the hospital’s achievement of JCIA accreditation.

  • Auditing Physicians' Charts for JCIA accreditation at Mediclinic AL Noor.
  • Quality improvement by working on updating guidelines at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC).
  • Teaching pediatric residents during rounds, on calls, and case presentations on various pediatric topics, initially as a senior resident and then as a specialist Pediatrician at SKMC.
