Dr. Rashif Ashraf is a Specialist Anaesthesiologist and Critical Care Physician with over seven years of experience in anaesthesia and perioperative care. He holds an MD in Anaesthesiology and Critical Care from K S Hegde Medical Academy, Mangalore, India, and an MBBS from Wuhan University School of Medicine, China. Throughout his career, he has been involved in the management of a high volume of surgical cases across multiple specialties, including orthopaedics, neurosurgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, general surgery, urology, oncology, ENT, ophthalmology, and plastic surgery. Dr. Rashif has expertise in ultrasound-guided regional anaesthesia, advanced airway management, one-lung ventilation, and invasive haemodynamic monitoring. His key areas of clinical interest include labour analgesia, high-risk obstetric anaesthesia, complex gynaecological and oncological surgeries, ENT procedures, and interventional pulmonology. He is committed to enhancing patient outcomes through perioperative optimisation, enhanced recovery protocols, and multimodal pain management strategies. His research includes a randomized clinical study on the effect of operating table tilt on the height of subarachnoid block, completed as part of his MD dissertation.
