Dr. Harb is a German Board-certified Cardiologist and Interventional Cardiologist with extensive expertise in both non-invasive and invasive cardiology. With over 15 years of experience, he is adept at performing a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Dr. Harb completed his medical degree in Egypt before joining Dubai Health Authority, where he served as a Senior Specialist in Cardiology for six years. He then pursued a six-month fellowship in cardiac MRI at Goethe University Hospital in Frankfurt, Germany. Subsequently, he undertook a cardiology residency program in Germany, earning the German Board certification in both Cardiology and Internal Medicine. As part of his training, Dr. Harb completed a fellowship in interventional cardiology at Harzkliniken under the guidance of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Kardiologie (DGK), following their specialized curriculum. Since 2022, Dr. Harb has been a Senior Consultant in Cardiology, specializing in interventional procedures and device implantation. His procedural expertise includes performing over 1,000 coronary angiographies and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), 300 device implantations (including single- and dual-chamber pacemakers, ICDs, CRT-Ds, temporary pacemakers, and 5 leadless pacemakers such as Aveir). He has also performed over 20 pericardiocenteses, 20 right heart catheterizations, 10 Impella CP placements, 20 IVUS procedures, and 100 IFR/FFR assessments. In non-invasive cardiology, Dr. Harb excels in echocardiography (TTE and TEE) and has significant experience in advanced procedures. He has assisted in MitraClip interventions and independently performed 5 LAA occluder placements (Watchman FLX), with additional contributions to 10 such cases. Dr. Harb holds fellowships from the European Society of Cardiology in Acute Cardiovascular Care, Adult Transthoracic Echocardiography, and Interventional Cardiology. He also completed an online fellowship in Heart Failure Management from the Zurich Heart Center and the British Society of Cardiology. He has participated in numerous specialized training programs in interventional cardiology across leading centres in Paris, Spain, Germany, Turkey, and the UAE, continuously advancing his expertise in the field. Dr. Harb attended various specialized trainings programs in interventional Cardiology in Paris, Spain, Germany, Turkey and UAE.
