Biography

Dr. Jayakeerthi Yoganarasimha Rao completed his MBBS degree and Master’s degree (MD) in General Medicine from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, India. He studied for three years and qualified with a post-graduate super specialty degree (DM) in Cardiology from St. John’s Medical College, Bengaluru, India. To create a competitive advantage in his career, Dr. Jayakeerthi earned another post-graduation in cardiac electrophysiology and pacing and yet another post-graduation in heart failure from UZ Brussels, Belgium, and the University of Zurich, Switzerland, respectively. With the vast experience that he gained while working as a Consultant Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist in some of the well-known hospitals in India, Dr. Jayakeerthi grew into a highly skilled cardiac specialist with prowess in complex coronary interventions, interventional electrophysiology, and performing some niche procedures like physiologic pacing for the heart, renal denervation, cardiac biopsy, catheter-directed interventions for DVT and intra-arterial thrombosis, among others. Dr. Jayakeerthi has also fine-tuned his administrative capabilities to manage the department’s operations in the specialty
