Biography

Dr. Georgie Thomas completed his MBBS at Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences, India, in 1996. Then, he received his MD in Internal Medicine from the Government Medical College and Wanless Hospital, India, in 2002. He was trained in cardiology and interventions at the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, India, and was awarded the Diplomate of the National Board (DNB) in Cardiology in 2007. Over the next eight years, Dr. Georgie worked and established the Cardiology Department at the Little Flower Hospital, India, which gave him extensive exposure to handling cases of coronary and peripheral interventions. To his credit, he has presented many papers at international congresses and is a faculty of various interventional conference boards.
