Biography

Dr. Moatasiem Bukhari has lived and practiced surgery in the United Kingdom for over two decades and had training in the region of Manchester as a Consultant Vascular Surgeon at the University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay, where he gained experience in treating all kinds of complex vascular conditions. His interest lies in treating extracranial carotid disease and abdominal aortic aneurysms. He specializes in various peripheral arterial conditions and treats all varicose veins with open surgery and endovascular treatment. His expertise magnifies in treating diabetic-related foot conditions, and he has massive experience in performing and creating vascular access for patients needing hemodialysis. He has performed Botox injections for people with excessive sweating. He has published articles in medical journals, presented at multiple international conferences, and taught medical students from Manchester, Liverpool, and Lancaster, as well as UAE medical schools. Dr. Bukhari holds a fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, a Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow, an intercollegiate fellowship, and a certificate of completion of specialty training (CCST UK). He has held the position of Surgical Audit Lead in Lancaster Hospital for ten years while also being the Mortality and Mobility committee Chairman in Mafraq, Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City, etc. In addition to his accomplishments, he is an avid football fan, enjoys traveling, and writes political articles in his leisure time.
