Dr. Ali Ghazzawi is a Syrian national who completed his MD at Damascus University. He completed his residency at the Ministry of Higher Education Hospitals in Damascus and underwent training in internal medicine, emergency medicine, and intensive care between 2013 and 2015 at Al-Assad and Al-Mouasat University Hospitals. He later completed his training in medical oncology between 2015 and 2018 at Al-Bairouni University Hospital, obtaining the Syrian Board Certification in Medical Oncology and a Master’s Degree in Medical Oncology in 2018.

He has over 7 years of experience treating cancer patients, with a special interest in breast, lung, and colon cancers. He also has extensive experience managing oncologic emergencies, as well as in diagnosing, screening, following up, and implementing treatment protocols for various types of cancers. Additionally, he has participated in several publications and conducted independent research studies in breast cancer, including a study on the efficacy of capecitabine as a second-line monotherapy in metastatic breast cancer in 2023.
