Dr. Mohammad Nawaz Salt is a highly experienced Consultant Pulmonologist with advanced expertise in respiratory medicine, interventional pulmonology, critical care, sleep medicine, and thoracic oncology. He is currently practicing at Burjeel Royal Hospital , where he provides comprehensive care for patients with complex respiratory disorders using evidence-based and patient-centered approaches. With over a decade of clinical and academic experience across leading tertiary care institutions in the UAE and India, Dr. Nawaz has extensive expertise in the diagnosis and management of asthma, chronic airway diseases, interstitial lung diseases, sleep-disordered breathing, tuberculosis, pleural diseases, and lung cancer. He has a particular interest in Severe Asthma, biologic therapies, interventional pulmonology procedures, and multidisciplinary respiratory care. Dr. Nawaz is skilled in advanced bronchoscopic and pleural interventions, including flexible and rigid bronchoscopy, EBUS-TBNA, bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL), transbronchial biopsies, thoracoscopy, and ultrasound-guided pleural procedures.
