Mahmoud Sleem is a specialist in Otorhinolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery with extensive experience in otology, audiology, and nasal disorders in both adults and children. After completing his medical and academic training, he acquired Master’s degree from Assiut university, Egypt and then Medical Doctorate degree from Hiroshima university, Japan, focusing on cochlear implantation. In his clinical practice, he performs a wide range of procedures, including cochlear implantation surgery, endoscopic ear surgeries, functional endoscopic sinus surgery; head and neck endoscopy; and minor procedures for both pediatric and adult patients. His work combines surgical precision, patient-centered care, research work and academic leadership as an Associate Professor of Ear, nose and throat and Head and Neck surgery, Assiut University, supported by his active roles in professional organizations such as Japanese Rhinological society and Egyptian Society of Otorhinolaryngology.
