Dr. Abdulla Alhassani is a Consultant Therapeutic Gastroenterologist with more than 20 years of experience in advanced endoscopy and complex gastrointestinal disease management. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) and is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology in both Canada and the United States. He completed advanced fellowship training in Therapeutic Endoscopy and Endoscopic Ultrasound in France. He currently serves as the President of the Emirates Society of Gastroenterology and Hepatology and is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He has played a key pioneering role in introducing and advancing multiple endoscopic bariatric and endoscopic anti-reflux procedures in the region.
