Dr. Sunada is an Indian Board-Certified Specialist Ophthalmologist and Surgeon. She completed her MBBS from JSS Medical college in Mysore in 2010 and her Post- graduation in Ophthalmology in 2014 from K G Hospital and Post Graduate Medical and Research institute, a tertiary healthcare institute located at Coimbatore in India. She has been working in corporate and trust hospitals in India for the last decade.
She joined the prestigious Aravind Eye Hospital in Coimbatore, India; one of the largest eye hospital networks in Asia in the 2018 where she received extensive training in the Management of various types of Cataracts and implantation of Intraocular Lenses. She also received training in the subspecialty of Glaucoma and completed her national fellowship in the same from the All India Ophthalmological Society (FAICO). She has also received her degree and is a Fellow of the International Council of Ophthalmology, UK (FICO). She has to her credit, diplomas in Hospital and Healthcare Management and in the Medicolegal Sciences. She has publications and has also co-authored chapters on topics related to glaucoma. She is currently pursuing a course in Artificial Intelligence in HealthCare from Stanford University.
She has been a mentor and surgical trainer for several students and fellows from international countries as well, for glaucoma and cataract surgery
