Dr. Venkatesh Manchikanti is a dedicated and skilled Specialist Radiologist with extensive experience in diagnostic imaging, interpretation, and advanced radiological techniques. He has clinical experience across leading healthcare institutions in India and the UAE, with expertise in a broad range of imaging modalities and diagnostic procedures. He completed his MBBS from PES Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, India, followed by an MD in Radiology from Narayana Medical College, India. He also holds a DNB in Radiology from the National Board of Examinations, Delhi, and the European Diploma in Radiology (EDiR) from the European Board of Radiology, Vienna. Dr. Venkatesh has experience interpreting X-rays, CT scans, MRI studies and ultrasounds, as well as performing general ultrasound and Doppler studies. He has also conducted and interpreted a range of radiological procedures and has experience with advanced imaging technologies and post-processing techniques. His areas of expertise include musculoskeletal ultrasound and MRI, adult and pediatric neuroimaging, cross-sectional body imaging, small-parts ultrasound, and CT and MRI post-processing. He has a particular interest in image optimisation and advanced post-processing techniques. He has worked as a Specialist Radiologist at NMC Royal Hospital, Sharjah, and Medcare Hospital, Sharjah, and previously held academic positions including Assistant and Associate Professor of Radiology at Narayana Medical College, Nellore, India. He has also served as an Assistant Professor and Senior Resident in Radiology. Dr. Venkatesh has extensive academic and professional involvement, with more than 75 published articles and case reports and 90 citations. He has contributed as an author to radiology books and educational resources and has participated as a speaker at DHA-accredited CME programmes, conferences and radiology meetings. His academic contributions include authorship of chapters in radiology textbooks, contributions to Radiopaedia and other radiology educational platforms, and participation in numerous educational programmes covering MRI, CT, ultrasound, emergency radiology, musculoskeletal imaging, abdominal imaging and other areas of diagnostic imaging. He has also served as a speaker at the Annual Radiology Meeting at Dubai World Trade Centre in 2023, 2024 and 2025 and has delivered presentations at various CME programmes and conferences.
