Dr. Gagan Thakur is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and Implantologist with advanced training in the field With over 14 years of experience. Dr. Gagan Thakur earned his BDS from Banglore, India in 2004. He completed his MDS in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Implantology from Pune, Maharashtra in 2008. He has wide experience working with renowned institutes in India, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi. Prior to joining Burjeel Medical City, he was serving a key role as Specialist Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and Implantologist at a renowned institute in Abu Dhabi. Dr. Gagan Thakur’s area of expertise includes a myriad of surgical procedures ranging from implants to wisdom tooth extractions, complicated extractions, trauma management and infections of the facial spaces, minor and major surgical procedures. Besides these, Dr. Gagan is a member of the Association of Oral Maxillofacial Surgeons of India (AOMFSI) and the Indian Dental Association (IDA). He also holds numerous academic publications and achievements under his name.
