The Department of Pediatric Pulmonology at Burjeel Medical City, Abu Dhabi, is dedicated to the treatment of children with respiratory diseases. The experts in the Pediatric Pulmonology department have extensive experience diagnosing and treating children with asthma, chronic cough, recurrent chest infections, cystic fibrosis, bronchiectasis, interstitial lung disease, obstructive sleep apnoea , and other conditions affecting their lungs. Our team includes pediatricians who specialize in pediatrics as well as paediatric pulmonology who are specially trained to treat lung conditions in children. We work closely with our patient’s families to make sure they understand how to care for their child’s condition at home.
We work closely with multidisciplinary teams including ENT, Speech and Language therapist, Respiratory physiotherapist, dieticians, Cardiologists and other subspecialists to look after children with complex background.
