The Department of Pediatric Gastroenterology at Burjeel Medical City, Abu Dhabi, is committed to providing the highest quality care for children and adolescents with gastrointestinal problems. Our team of board-certified pediatric gastroenterologists, hepatologists, pediatric surgeons, nutritionists, and nurses in the pediatric gastroenterology department work together to provide an array of services from prevention and diagnosis of gastrointestinal diseases, including irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and celiac disease, to treatment for inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), colitis and Crohn’s disease. We also offer a wide range of surgical options for pediatric patients with chronic abdominal pain or obstruction due to Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis. Our goal is to provide each patient with a team approach that will meet their needs on every level so they can live life again without the burden of pain caused by their condition.
