Offering Hope, Cutting-edge Techniques, and Personalized Care for Cerebral Palsy Management

    Understanding Cerebral Palsy (CP)

CP is a group of neurological disorders that affect movement and muscle tone, caused by damage to the brain, typically occurring before or during birth. Symptoms can vary and may include difficulty with movement, coordination, and spasticity, leading to bone or joint deformity. While there is no cure, our treatments aim to manage symptoms and improve function.

    Our Multidisciplinary Approach

At the core of our clinic is a team united by a single mission: to improve the lives of children with CP. Our approach involves an intricate balance of therapies, surgeries, and ongoing care tailored to each child’s unique needs.

    What We Offer:

    • Botox Injections and Tendon Release Surgeries
    • Baclofen Pumps to manage spasticity
    • Physical Therapy to enhance movement and function
    • Specialized Orthotics for support and mobility

    Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR)

SDR aims to reduce spasticity in legs by cutting nerves contributing to this condition, improving the ability to walk and move. This involves small incisions in the lower back to access the spinal cord, with nerves identified using electrical stimulation.

    PERCS Procedure

PERCS is a minimally invasive technique for tendon lengthening, designed to improve joint flexibility and range of motion. Both procedures require post-surgical physical therapy for strength and function recovery.

The fusion of SDR and PERCS techniques epitomizes our innovative spirit, marrying minimally invasive tendon lengthening with nerve sectioning to deliver comprehensive spasticity management.

Guided by Physical Therapy to foster strength and leg function recovery.
