Biography

Dr. Preeth Pani Thandapany is a DHA and MOH certified radiologist with extensive experience in diagnostic imaging and minimally invasive procedures. Holding an MD in Radiodiagnosis (with second rank in university exams), along with specialized training and certifications in musculoskeletal MRI, fetal medicine, and first trimester ultrasound, Dr. Thandapany is highly skilled in performing a wide array of diagnostic procedures across multiple imaging modalities, including MRI, CT, ultrasound, Doppler studies, and digital mammography. His career spans both academic and clinical settings, where he has contributed as a Consultant Radiologist at PIMS, Pondicherry, involved in clinical work, teaching, and training future radiologists, and as a Consultant Teleradiologist at 5c Network Diagnostics. He has also been a Senior Resident and Junior Resident at leading medical institutions in India and served as a Medical Officer in the Indian Army Medical Corps for five years, further developing his leadership, team collaboration, and patient care skills. Dr. Thandapany is proficient in performing non-vascular interventions such as biopsy, fluid aspiration, and nephrostomy, and brings a wealth of knowledge in neuroimaging, musculoskeletal imaging, abdominal imaging, and more. His dedication to advancing his radiology career, combined with his extensive clinical and academic experience, makes him a valuable asset to any healthcare team.
