Biography

Dr. Mohamed Khalfan Ahmed Alketbi is a highly accomplished Consultant Ophthalmologist specializing in surgical retina and uveitis. With extensive experience in clinical practice and medical research, Dr. Alketbi is dedicated to advancing patient care and ophthalmic science. Dr. Alketbi completed his MBBS at Gulf Medical University in Ajman, UAE, in 2011. He then pursued advanced training at the University Hospital of Nice, France, earning a Diploma of Specialized Studies in Ophthalmology from 2015 to 2020. His expertise was further enhanced by a fellowship in surgical retina and uveitis at the same institution, where he developed proficiency in cataract surgery and other complex ocular procedures. Fluent in Arabic, English, and French, Dr. Alketbi is known for his ability to treat diverse patient populations across various countries. His clinical work focuses on managing complex retinal conditions and treating patients with uveitis. During his fellowship in France, he participated in a multidisciplinary uveitis clinic in collaboration with rheumatology specialists, shaping his holistic approach to patient care.
