Dr. Haitham Al-Okk is a highly skilled Consultant Medical Oncologist with extensive experience in hematology and oncology. He earned his Medical Doctorate from the Higher Medical Institute – Medical Academy in Sofia, Bulgaria, in 1992. Dr. Al-Okk completed his internship at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in New Jersey and pursued his residency in Internal Medicine at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He further specialized in Hematology and Oncology through a fellowship at Seton Hall University. Dr. Al-Okk is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, and Hematology, with certifications from the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Medical Oncology, and the American Board of Hematology. He has held prestigious positions in leading cancer treatment centers, including the Karmanos Cancer Institute in Michigan and the Good Samaritan Cancer Center. His professional experience also includes significant roles with the National Guard Health Affairs in Saudi Arabia and the Kentucky Cancer Clinic. Dr. Al-Okk has co-moderated GI tumor board conferences with reputable institutions such as MSKCC (Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center), AUB (American University of Beirut), and NGHA (National Guard Health Affairs), demonstrating his commitment to collaborative care and clinical excellence. Dr. Al-Okk is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and the American Society of Hematology (ASH). He was recognized with a full-time scholarship during his medical education and served as the Hematology/Oncology Chief Fellow at Seton Hall University.
