Biography

Dr. Rushikesh Ashok Naik is a Consultant Radiologist at Burjeel Hospital in Abu Dhabi, UAE, with a distinguished clinical and academic career spanning over 16 years. Dr. Naik completed his MBBS at B.J. Medical College, University of Pune, and his post-graduation in Radiodiagnosis at the Pushpagiri Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, Kerala. He was awarded the Diplomate of National Board (DNB) from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi, in 2009, achieving a Gold Medal for his outstanding excellence. Further elevating his elite international credentials, Dr. Naik earned the European Diploma in Radiology (EDiR) in Vienna (2018), became a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) in London (2019), and achieved the prestigious European Diploma in Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology (EDGAR) from ESGAR (2026). His academic foundations include serving as an Assistant Professor at the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre (Kochi) and Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College (Pune), where he contributed significantly to undergraduate and postgraduate residency training. Highly regarded for his leadership in medical education, Dr. Naik is actively involved in premium FRCR teaching courses and served as a faculty examiner for the inaugural Radiology Comprehensive Clinical Exmination in the UAE.  Prior to moving to the UAE, he practiced as a Consultant Radiologist at several reputed hospitals and centers in Pune. He has authored numerous case reports and research papers, consistently bridging cutting-edge academic excellence with top-tier patient care.
