The Psychology Department at Burjeel Medical City (BMC) is dedicated to promoting healthier lives for all patients through the prevention, evaluation, and treatment of complex mental health issues. Our multidisciplinary team of experts includes psychiatrists, therapists, nurses, and other clinicians specially trained to help children, adolescents, and adults manage their psychological disorders, neurodevelopment disorders, chemical dependency problems, and other issues such as oppositional defiant disorder (ODD) and conduct disorders. In a friendly, family-centered setting, our department also teaches children with and without disabilities how to prevent sexual abuse of children.
