Awards & Accreditations
DESIGNATED TEACHING HOSPITAL BY DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH: APS-basic and APS-Intermediate
Burjeel Medical City was awarded designation as a teaching hospital by the Department of Health, Abu Dhabi in 2021, allowing the hospital to provide basic education and training programs including observerships, clinical attachments, and internships. In 2022, the hospital was designated as a teaching hospital that provides Intermediate training programs including internship, return to practice, and experience equivalency programs. All educational activities carried out are audited by the Department of Health to comply with their standards.
