Dr. Taher Helmy Soliman is a highly experienced Consultant and Team Leader of General Surgery and Trauma with almost 30 years of expertise in general surgery, specializing in laparoscopic surgery, trauma management, and acute surgical emergencies. He completed his MB.BCH at Ain Shams University, Egypt, in 1985, followed by his MS in General Surgery from Ain Shams University in 1991. Dr. Soliman further advanced his surgical qualifications with the prestigious FRCS (Glasgow, UK) in 1997. Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Soliman has held key positions in renowned hospitals across the UAE, including Saudi German Hospital, Sheikh Khalifa General Hospital, and University Hospital Sharjah. His work experience spans both elective surgeries and emergency procedures, where he has managed a diverse range of patients, from trauma cases to complex laparoscopic surgeries. His commitment to teaching and mentoring has made him an integral part of medical education, serving as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Sharjah and as a trainer for surgical skills courses. Dr. Soliman’s vast surgical knowledge, his exceptional problem-solving skills, and his ability to lead surgical teams have earned him a reputation for excellence in his field.
