Biography

Dr. Mandeep Singh is Maternal and Fetal Medicine Consultant with over twenty years of clinical experience. He is the Director of Kypros Nicolaides Fetal Medicine and Therapy Center and CEO of the Burjeel Farha. As the former Medical Director for Women’s & Children’s Division at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust, Dr. Singh arrives with impressive credentials. His expertise has been honed as a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynecology (Subspecialist Fetal Maternal Medicine), a Lead Consultant in both Fetal Medicine and Research and Development, and the Lead Obstetric Consultant for a Maternal and Neonatal Health Safety Collaborative. As a Group Clinical Director, he deftly merged a trio of NHS foundation trusts into a single organization. Dr. Singh’s published contributions span an array of papers, reviewed articles and book chapters, whilst on the research front, he was the Principal Investigator for a host of studies including the SPREE: screening program for pre-eclampsia (2016-2018), the STATIN study of pravastatin versus placebo for the prevention of late preeclampsia (2018-2020), and the 2018 EVENTS study into the prevention of preterm birth in twin pregnancies. Dr. Singh’s appointment further strengthens Burjeel Farha’s growing network of specialists, as he brings a wealth of experience in obstetrics and gynecologic care for women of all ages. His ability to deliver high-quality patient outcomes is an immense asset for our initiative and will vastly enhance patient experience. His special interest includes management of multiple pregnancies, preeclampsia, preterm delivery, and previous pregnancy loss.
