Also, He joined the Peacekeeping Forces as a Field Doctor at the Formed Police Unit – United Nations Operation in Darfur (UNAMID) in Darfur from July 2015 to March 2016. His service there provided him with a unique perspective on medical care in challenging and high-pressure environments. Dr. Mahmoud Nalawi’s journey in medicine started with a bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery from the esteemed Jordan University of Science and Technology in Irbid.
