Ms. Khawlah Khaled Assistant Psychologist

Biography

• Ms. Khawlah Khaled is one of our passionate Emirati caregivers at the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and has a strong desire of exploring the field further at the Burjeel Medical City.  She has participated extensively in the field during the pandemic working with frontline heroes though a Psychological Support Helpline. Moreover, Khawlah has also been a part of an online consulting platform to aid the community’s mental health. Prior to the above, Khawlah Khaled was an Intern at the Zayed University’s Psycho-Social Response Team focusing on Covid-19. The assignment comprised data search, literature review, summary reports and online data collection work, connected to the psychological implications of persons affected by the pandemic.
