Biography

Dr. Jaseela Iqbal is an MOH License holder with five years of experience as General Practitioner and Resident Doctor. She has been a high performer during her academic life right from secondary school level and through medical school. In both these levels, she emerged with distinction in her educational performance. After gaining her medical graduation (MBBS) from Yenepoya Medical College Hospital, Mangalore. India, she worked General Practitioner and Family Physician at Shetty’s Clinic, Mumbai, India and managed various primary responsibilities of patient investigations, prescription of medication and treatment, follow-up, and counseling. Dr. Jaseela then joined the reputed Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai and worked in the Cardiology Depton larger-scale assignments including the application of advanced equipment to assess cardio-vascular diseases, diagnostic interpretation of EKG’s, exercise stress testing, and echo cardiograms, assistance in performing right and left heart cardiac catheterization, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), management of STEMI and similar clinical cardiac interventions. Her next career position was Resident Doctor (Nephrology), Lilavati Hospital and Research Centre, Mumbai where she acquired the expertise in Nephrology – related ailments and case management at the 383-bed multi-specialty, tertiary hospital. She participated in the diagnosing and treatment of a diverse renal diseases and managed a daily intake of two hundred patients with stage 5 chronic kidney diseases. From Lilavati Hospital, she re-located to the UAE and worked as General Practitioner, Al Shams Medical and Diagnostic Centre, Sharjah where she was able to put into practice all her knowledge and experience in the multi-specialty facility. Dr. Jaseela moved to Burjeel Medical City from this last position in her career at Al Shams, Sharjah
