Biography

Dr. Amir Javaid is a distinguished Consultant in Psychiatry. He came with a robust academic background and extensive professional experience in both psychiatry and internal medicine. He is registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) in the UK (Registration No: 7075862) and the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council, and he holds DOH eligibility. He worked as a senior consultant psychiatrist in the UK for several years and trained many doctors. Dr. Javaid completed his Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT/CESR) in Psychiatry in the UK in 2022, accredited by the Royal College of Psychiatrists and the General Medical Council. In 2018, he became a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych), further establishing his expertise in the field. His academic journey also includes a Master of science in Gastroenterology from Queen Mary University of London, earned in 2009, and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Lahore Medical & Dental College, Pakistan, obtained in 2004. Dr. Javaid’s professional career is marked by his dedication to patient care and his commitment to advancing mental health services.
