Biography

Dr. Ankita Batra is a highly experienced Specialist in Critical Care, with a strong clinical background in managing critically ill patients across a wide spectrum of medical and surgical conditions. With years of hands-on ICU experience, she has developed a comprehensive skill set that includes the care of patients with severe respiratory, cardiac, neurological, gastrointestinal, and infectious diseases, including those with life-threatening complications of COVID-19. She is proficient in a wide range of critical care procedures such as intubation, mechanical ventilation, central venous catheter insertion, PICC line placement, dialysis catheter insertion, arterial line placement, percutaneous tracheostomy, and intercostal drain (ICD) insertion. Dr. Batra is also skilled in the freehand use of ultrasound for procedural guidance and bedside decision-making, and has managed patients requiring advanced life support technologies such as ECMO. In addition to her critical care expertise, Dr. Batra has significant experience in anesthesia for a variety of surgical specialties, including general surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, ENT, urology, cardiothoracic, pediatrics, neurosurgery, obstetrics, bariatric, and robotic surgeries.
