Dr. Jalal Omar Trad is a highly skilled physician with a robust educational background and extensive clinical experience. He holds a Master’s degree in Healthcare Management from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, Dublin, after completing a rigorous two-year program. Dr. Trad also earned his Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from Beirut Arab University, Lebanon. Dr. Trad’s clinical expertise is highlighted by his comprehensive training in the SEHA General Internal Medicine Program in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This ACGME-accredited program provided him with broad exposure to various medical disciplines, including cardiology, gastroenterology, hematology & oncology, pulmonology, endocrinology, nephrology, and neurology. His prior experience includes rotating internships at Hammoud Hospital University Medical Center and Makassed General Hospital in Lebanon, as well as elective rotations at esteemed institutions such as Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, USA, and Tawam Hospital, UAE. In addition to his clinical experience, Dr. Trad has made significant contributions to medical research. He served as a postdoctoral research fellow in hematology and oncology at the American University of Beirut, where he focused on the effects of proteasome inhibitors in leukemia patients. His research includes a manuscript titled “Characteristics of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus in the UAE: A Single-center Observational Study.” Dr. Trad is a registered physician with the General Medical Council (GMC) and holds certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). He has also successfully passed parts 1 and 2 of the Arab Board and Emirati Board examinations. His commitment to the medical field is further demonstrated by his volunteer work with the Lebanese Medical Student International Committee and various health awareness initiatives.
