Dr. Yahya Ethawi is a Canadian consultant pediatrician and neonatologist with more than three decades of clinical experience across Canada, Australia, Qatar, Iraq, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia. He is recognized for his expertise in managing critically ill newborns and children, his leadership in neonatal intensive care, and his contributions to education, research, and the advancement of smart neonatal monitoring technologies. His areas of focus include neonatal hemodynamics, advanced ventilation strategies, point-of-care ultrasound, neonatal transport, and the integration of artificial intelligence into neonatal care pathways. Dr. Ethawi has served as a faculty member, consultant, NICU leader, transport director, and adjunct professor, and has authored and co-authored numerous publications, guidelines, and clinical training programs.
