Dr. Y.A. Nazer is a distinguished Cardiac Surgeon with extensive experience in India and the United Arab Emirates. He earned his medical degree from Thiruvananthapuram Medical College in Kerala. He then pursued advanced studies at the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi, where he obtained his MS and MCh degrees. Following this, Dr. Nazer completed a four-year Fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery at the renowned Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney. In 1994, leveraging his vast expertise, Dr. Nazer played a pivotal role in establishing the Cardiac Surgical Unit at a government hospital in Abu Dhabi.
