Biography

Dr. Tarig Ali Mohamed Elhassan boasts two decades of invaluable experience in cardiac surgery. His journey commenced with academic excellence at Russia’s Izhevsk Government Medical Academy (IGMA), where he obtained a Bachelor of Medicine, a Bachelor of Surgery, a Diploma of Medicine, and an MBBS. Following his rigorous academic pursuit, Dr. Elhassan embarked on a dedicated path in surgical training, completing his Post-Graduate degree internship in General Surgery in 1999. Notably, he furthered his specialization in cardiovascular surgery by earning a Master’s degree from the same institution in 2002, solidifying his foundation in the field. 

In 2001, Dr. Elhassan initiated his professional journey at Republican Clinical Hospital No. 3, known as the Izhevsk Cardiac Center, in Russia. Here, he honed his surgical skills and expanded his expertise in adult cardiac surgery. With a keen focus on coronary artery diseases and complications, valvular heart diseases, and congenital heart disease surgery and management, he emerged as a proficient cardiac surgeon. Dr. Elhassan’s tenure at the renowned cardiac center underscored his commitment to excellence and patient care, laying a strong foundation for his future endeavors. 

In 2004, Dr. Elhassan transitioned his practice to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), marking a significant chapter in his career. Drawing upon his rich experience and expertise, he continued to serve patients with dedication and compassion. His relocation to the UAE further enriched his professional journey, enabling him to contribute significantly to the advancement of cardiac surgery in the region. Dr. Elhassan’s steadfast commitment to improving patient outcomes and his unwavering pursuit of excellence continue to distinguish him as a respected figure in the field of cardiac surgery.
