Biography

Dr. Sivan Pillay has been practicing medicine for over 36 years, having completed his MBBS from Madras University, India. He attended medical school at Tanjavur Medical College, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine degree. Dr. Pillay completed his internship and Anesthesiology residency at the same college, followed by Fellowship training in Cardiac Anesthesia. Throughout his career, he has actively participated in multiple research studies and has presented at International Anesthesia Society meetings, with a keen interest in anesthesiology and pain medicine research. Dr. Pillay is a member of several prestigious societies, including the Society of Cardio-Vascular Anesthesiologists (SCA), the Indian Society of Pediatric Cardiology, and the Indian Society of Anesthetists. He brings a well-rounded expertise in academics, patient management, administrative duties, and research.
