Dr. Halprashanth D S is a Consultant Neurologist and Director of the Burjeel Multiple Sclerosis Center, Abu Dhabi, with extensive experience in diagnosing and managing complex neurological conditions. He completed his DM in Neurology at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, India. During his early consultant career, he developed and led a comprehensive stroke program at Gleneagles Global Health City, Chennai, gaining extensive experience in acute stroke care and multidisciplinary neurological management. In 2020, he established a dedicated Migraine and Headache Clinic at Burjeel Hospital, Abu Dhabi. He subsequently expanded his clinical and academic focus to Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and neuroimmunology, earning certification as a Multiple Sclerosis Specialist (MSCS) from the Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers, USA. In 2024, he established the Burjeel Multiple Sclerosis Center, providing comprehensive care encompassing early diagnosis, personalized treatment, disease monitoring, rehabilitation and patient education. His clinical interests also include stroke, epilepsy, movement disorders, cognitive neurology and neuromuscular conditions. His approach emphasizes evidence-based medicine, individualized treatment and multidisciplinary care to improve patients’ long-term quality of life.
