Dr. Ahmad holds a Bachelor of Medicine from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and is a Member of the American and Canadian Boards of Internal Medicine and Hematology. He is also a Board Member at DHA, DoH, and SEHA. Dr. Ahmad is a highly qualified Emirati Hematologist with many years of experience in the UAE’s healthcare sector. Dr. Ahmad played an instrumental role in developing the quality and standards of hematology services in the country as a Consultant and Board Member at several leading medical and regulatory institutions, including the Dubai Health Authority and SEHA. Dr. Ahmad is responsible for establishing the Hematology Centre in Dubai and developing DHA’s Bone Marrow Transplant infrastructure. He was part of the team that performed the first-ever BMT in the UAE in 2019.
