Biography

Dr. Mohamed Abouseif Badawi is a highly experienced Consultant Pediatrician with more than 36 years of experience in the field following graduation. He has extensive experience in pediatric clinical care, medical education, clinical research, and hospital administration. He graduated from Ain Shams University College of Medicine, Egypt, in 1990 with a very good degree with honours and subsequently completed his Master’s Degree in Pediatrics from Ain Shams University. He holds MRCPCH and FRCPCH from the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health, UK, as well as Arab Board Certification in Pediatrics. Dr. Mohamed has held senior Consultant positions at leading healthcare institutions in the UAE, including Al Tawam Hospital under DOH-SEHA, Al Qassimi Women & Children Hospital under EHS, Sharjah, and Latifa Women’s & Children’s Hospital under DHA, Dubai. He has also made significant contributions to medical education, serving as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the College of Medicine, University of Sharjah, and previously as a Lecturer at Dubai Medical College for Girls. He has been actively involved in postgraduate medical education, mentoring and training pediatric residents. Dr. Mohamed has served as an MRCPCH Overseas Examiner, an examiner for the Pediatric Emirati Board, and a postgraduate examiner at the College of Medicine, University of Sharjah. He has also participated as a speaker at national and international conferences and symposia and has contributed to research and publications in the field of Pediatrics.
