Biography

Dr. Shireen Family Medicine Consultant is a Western-trained, North American Certified Consultant Physician with more than 24 years of rich professional experience in her field. Dr. Shireen completed her residency training in Family Medicine at the University of Western Ontario, Canada, and joined the Canadian College as a Consultant Family Physician in 2016. She received her Medical Degree from Cairo University and completed her Masters’s as well as her Doctorate (PhD) degree in Anesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine in 2007. Dr. Shireen worked at various Hospitals internationally during her career including Mount Sinai Hospital, Women’s College, Princess Margaret Hospital, and Toronto Western Hospital in Canada as well as the National Heart Institute in Egypt. She was also part of the ICU team at the Mafraq Hospital, Abu Dhabi, during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Dr. Shireen values commitment to patient-centred care and evidence-based medicine.
