Al Ain, February 13, 2026: Burjeel Holdings, a leading super-specialty healthcare services provider in MENA, has launched the Burjeel Heart Institute in Al Ain, introducing a dedicated center focused on delivering advanced and comprehensive cardiovascular care to the community. The institute enhances access to specialized heart services across Al Ain and surrounding areas, bringing together clinical expertise, advanced technology, and a patient-centered approach under one roof.

The Burjeel Heart Institute is led by an elite team of internationally experienced cardiology consultants and specialists. The center provides comprehensive cardiac care, covering prevention, early diagnosis, complex interventions, and long-term disease management.

The official opening ceremony was attended by distinguished dignitaries, including H.E. Hashima Al Afari, Member of the Federal National Council; H.E. Rashid Al Mannaei, Director General of Al Ain Municipality; H.E. Eng. Fahad Al Nuaimi, Director of Endowments and Islamic Affairs in Al Ain; along with directors and representatives from various government entities in Al Ain.

“Our vision is to build a leading cardiovascular center in Al Ain that delivers timely, high-quality heart care under one roof. We have designed the institute to respond quickly to urgent cardiac conditions while also providing structured long-term management for chronic heart disease. Most importantly, patients in Al Ain can now access advanced cardiac services within their own community,” said Dr. Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Consultant Interventional Cardiologist and Head of the Burjeel Heart Institute.

With a strong emphasis on functional medicine and prevention, the institute focuses on early identification of risk factors and structured care plans to reduce the burden of heart disease. The institute also offers advanced interventional cardiology services, including diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterization, coronary and peripheral interventions including carotid artery procedures, pacemaker implantation, and renal denervation for resistant hypertension.

Dedicated programs are available for monitoring heart failure and arrhythmias, along with comprehensive management of hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, coronary artery disease, and angina. The facility is equipped with a fully operational cardiac catheterization laboratory, CT coronary angiography, advanced echocardiography systems, stress testing equipment, and Holter monitoring services. This integrated setup enables accurate diagnosis and timely treatment without the need for external referrals.

“Apart from procedures, cardiovascular care today is also about prevention, precision, and continuity of care. At the Burjeel Heart Institute, we are combining advanced interventional

capabilities with strong preventive programs to support patients at every stage, from risk assessment to complex treatment and long-term follow-up,” said Professor Abdullah Shehab, Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at Burjeel Royal Hospital, Al Ain.
