Biography

Dr. Rizwan Shah earned his medical degree from Abbottabad’s Ayub Medical College (AMC) in 2005. He then finished his Neurosurgery Residency in 2013 and graduated from CPSP with an FCPS Neurosurgery degree (College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan). Additionally, in 2018, he earned an FRCS (SN) in Neurosurgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in the United Kingdom. Additionally, he completed a one-year Fellowship in Pediatric Neurosurgery at the Pediatric Neurosurgery Departments at Bristol Royal Children’s Hospital, University Hospital Bristol, and Weston in the United Kingdom. After completing a Fellowship in Neurosurgery in 2013, he worked in Abbottabad, Pakistan, as a Specialist Registrar in Neurosurgery till 2016. He then relocated to the United Arab Emirates, where he worked as a Specialist Registrar at first at Rashid Hospital in Dubai and then at Al Ain Hospital in Al Ain till 2020. Following that, he relocated to the United Kingdom and began working as a Senior Clinical Fellow in Neurosurgery. He has presented at national and international conferences on a variety of subjects. Additionally, he has peer-reviewed publications. His areas of expertise include,
