Dr. Payam Azali is a Swedish Board-Certified specialist in Rheumatology and senior consultant rheumatologist from Stockholm, Sweden. He completed his post-graduation in 2012 from Karolinska Institute Danderyds Hospital (KIDS), a regional university hospital in Stockholm, Sweden. He has been working in university hospitals in Stockholm at Rheumatology units as a specialist for the last 10 years, even as head of the rheumatology department at Danderyds University Hospital. He has vast experience in musculoskeletal and vascular ultrasound in rheumatology. As a senior consultant rheumatologist in a university hospital, he has excellent experience in investigation and management of all rheumatic diseases, from inflammatory joint diseases to systemic inflammatory diseases. He has long experience in advanced biological therapy in the management of rheumatic diseases.
