Biography

Dr. Sandani Shaik completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Deccan College of Medical Sciences, India, in 1997. He subsequently obtained a DNB in Pulmonology from Mahavir Hospital and Research Centre, India, in 2015. Dr. Sandani brings over two decades of rich experience in the field of Pulmonology. He has successfully implemented a comprehensive sleep medicine program, significantly increasing the diagnosis and treatment of sleep-related breathing disorders. Dr. Sandani’s areas of expertise include Interventional Pulmonology, Bronchoscopy (Diagnostic and Therapeutic), Thoracentesis, Tube Thoracostomy, Pleurodesis, and Ventilator Management (Invasive and Non-Invasive Mechanical Ventilation and Endotracheal Intubation). He is skilled in Central Venous Catheterization, Pulmonary Function Tests, Polysomnography, and Lung Cancer evaluation. Dr. Sandani is also well-experienced in treating diseases such as Asthma and Airway Allergic Disorders, COPD, ILD, Pneumonia, Tuberculosis, and Pleural Diseases.
