Biography

Dr. Ahmed Shahen is an Intensive Care Medicine Physician with experience managing critical care cases, including medical, surgical, trauma, neurology, and neurosurgery patient, through diagnostic and interventional methods and ensuring strict guidelines and protocols to provide the best treatment to every patient. Dr. Ahmed finished his residency at Al Mokattam Insurance Hospital. He was involved in the management of all ICU cases, including dealing with Covid-19 patients that need simple oxygen therapy to the most critical cases with comorbidities (Septic Shock, Ischemic Stroke, DCL, AKI, and Severe ARDS). He was also part of the Al Galaa Military Complex ICU team that included a rotation in different ICUs (Internal Medicine ICU, Neurology ICU, GIT ICU, Surgical ICU, Chest ICU, and Trauma ICU).
