Dr. Rashmin Gajjar is a Specialist Radiologist at Burjeel Day Surgery Center in Abu Dhabi, UAE. He has an extensive professional experience in radiology, with a career spanning over 16 years. Dr. Rashmin has completed his M.B.B.S. and M.D. in Radodiagnosis at Smt. NHL Municipal Medical College, Gujarat University (India). Prior to his current role in the UAE, Dr. Rashmin worked as a Consultant Radiologist in Ahmedabad; Gujarat in NABH accredited multispecialty hospital and was affiliated with various reputed hospitals. He has authored various case reports and research papers in India. Dr. Rashmin relocated to the UAE in 2012 and joined a private hospital before joining Burjeel group, Abu Dhabi in 2014. He is performing and interpreting radiologic procedures including General Radiology, CT, MRI, USG. He has special interest and expertise in cross-sectional body imaging, Musculoskeletal imaging and breast imaging. He is an active member of the Indian Radiological and Imaging Association (IRIA), Indian College of Radiology and Imaging (ICRI), Indian Medical Association (IMA), the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA). His expertise extends to various aortic procedures, including TEVAR (thoracic endovascular aneurysm repair), EVAR (endovascular aneurysm repair), and CERAB (chronic cerebrospinal venous insufficiency angioplasty and stenting). Dr. Abbas is also skilled in mesenteric and renal artery stenting, pulmonary artery angiogram and thrombolysis, TIPS (transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt) placement, and transjugular liver biopsy.
