Biography

Dr. Avinash Vernekar is a Consultant Radiologist with an MD in Radio Diagnosis from the prestigious Grant Medical College in Mumbai (India) and an MBBS from Shivaji University in Maharashtra (India). Dr. Avinash Vernekar is a fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) in London and is registered to practice with the General Medical Council (GMC) in the UK. He also completed his Master’s in Medicine (M. Med.) in Radiology from the National University of Singapore. He has worked in a JCI and NABH accredited, multispecialty tertiary care, state-of-the-art hospital with a total experience of 19 years. His areas of expertise include performing and interpreting radiologic procedures – General Radiology, CT, MRI, USG – with a special interest in cross-sectional body imaging, neuroimaging, MSK, pediatric cardiac CT, adult CT coronary imaging, and liver/renal donor transplant imaging. Dr. Avinash Vernekar constantly attends workshops to stay abreast of the latest developments in his field.

He is an active member of the European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology (ESSR) and the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA).
